Yes, the atmosphere is indeed out of this world... it's Helghast.
The camera angle reminds me of Dead Space how it's like thigh-high and the character is towards the left side of the screen.
God!
My...
Oh...
Awesome!
I had no idea that backwards compatibility required so much space/technology! I figured it was just the "Emotion Engine" chip and nothing else. I guess since the motherboard is already lot smaller without backwards compatibility a "PS3 Slim" shouldn't be too hard.
After this game launches everyone will say:
"The next generation starts NOW!"
Have a seat
KZ2 isn't even an actual game. It's an interactive Blu-Ray movie; you know like those games that come as extra features on movie disc. It's just a clip of CGI videos that you interact with but they trick you into thinking it's a game by using the PS3 Blu-Ray player and PS3 remote. It's Sony after all, when do they NOT lie to gamers? GG doesn't actually stand for "Guerilla Games" either. It actual means "Gotcha Good".
That's what a former 360 fanboy would prob...
*Waits for Star Trek fan to say "See I told you Star Trek wasn't fiction!"*
I stopped subscribing to EGM a LONG time ago. That magazine started getting worse and worse and then went downhill FAST!
Americans with Euro accounts also get the KZ2 demo FREE!
It's easy to make a Euro account and it doesn't cost $50 :)
I <3 my 320gb backwards compatible launch PS3
320gb HDD for $112 online :) Or you could pay about the same for a 60gb proprietary Xbox 360 HDD
Every time I go into a GameStop they bombarded with
GameStop: "Would you like to pre-order Halo Wars for only $5?!"
I'm like: "No! I've told you NO every time I've come in here! Why don't you ask people to pre-order KillZone 2?"
GameStop: "We're not allowed to discuss that."
Why make people pay to use their OWN internet connection?
I'm already paying $40 per-month on internet; why make me pay just for M$ to allow me to use my already payed-for internet connection.
Everyone starts out as a "Bator". After multiple outings they achieve the rank of "LieutenantBator". Finally after years of experience they are promoted to the rank of "MasterBator"
Midnight Launch makes it seem as if the game comes out 1 day earlier. TECHNICALLY it is indeed the official release date, but since you don't go to sleep and wake-up the next day it seems as if you got the game a day earlier.
I'm sure the Xbots will be here shortly to say "See Blu-Ray is doing so bad that they have to give them away for free!"
GameSpot will probably give it an 8.5 and claim the graphics are TOO good.
